XXL is a Hip hop magazine it has a simple and bold mast head and has a continuous colour scheme of red and white but this changes when there are special editions. They do annual things inside the magazine such as 'top 10 freshman of the year' this is influential as I feel I could do something like this in my magazine as it gives an extra aspect to the content as the reader would not just want to read interviews and reviews.
